A literary salon event in 12 parts, Leslie joins past luminaries like Myf Warhurst, Angie Hart, Clare Bowditch, Adalita Srsen, Denise Scott, Helen Razer, Catherine Deveny, Judith Lucy, Sophie Cunningham, Noni Hazlehurst, Virginia Trioli, Helen Garner, Roz Hammond and Sian Prior.

Victims pen a letter to be read aloud. Come to listen to letters and music and afterwards, join in by writing a letter or aerogramme of your own.

This one is at the Thornbury Theatre, 859 High street Thornbury, and sees Claire Bowditch hosting a panel with:

Music likely to be DJ’d by Glenn Richards, lead singer of Augie March. Tickets available 2nd May.

Penguin’s eventually going to turn the letters from these soirees into a book and, better still, proceeds for the evening go to animal rescue shelter Edgar’s Mission
